About Me
I'm Kyla, a singer-songwriter based in the Lower Mainland (Surrey/Langley area). Music has always been my way of making sense of the world—whether belting harmonies in choir, stepping into roles in musical theatre like Tarzan at Langley Christian or the Magi in our Christmas shows, or quietly writing lyrics late at night.

I started sharing my voice with a solo cover of "Remember" on the Surrey Christian School Concert Choir EP (2022–23), and since then I've been chasing that feeling of connection through song. My style pulls from indie folk, pop introspection, and a bit of theatre heart—think vulnerable lyrics, acoustic textures, and melodies that stick with you.

Right now, I'm focused on writing original songs that reflect real life: the highs of friendship and faith, the messiness of figuring yourself out, and the beauty in small moments. I'm not chasing perfection—just authenticity.
